I Dream in Stories

This is a blog about stories and storytelling, dedicated to publishing my drawings and thoughts.

In 2018, I returned to my beloved Lincoln Elementary School to teach storytelling residencies in 1st and 3rd grades. I’ve been teaching at this school for about 10 years, but had to take a couple of years off due to other commitments. Now I’m back, and the school is even more diverse and vibrant than before. It’s a delight to get to work there!

Every Tuesday, I teach 2 one-hour workshops, then retreat to the Guilin Rice Noodle Restaurant to eat lunch and take notes on what happened, what stories were told, and what I’ll do next time. Here are some of my drawings and notes.
