I’ve always loved making pictures, back to the days when my next-door neighbor, Pookie, taught me how to crayon without breaking the tip off. (And yes, “crayon” is a verb, trust me. My husband-to-be lost a bet with me over whether you can use “crayon” as a verb, and it cost him a trip to Europe to eat wild strawberries. Don’t mess with an English major.)
Here you’ll find an assortment of the images I’ve made over the years.

I draw to tell a story, explain a concept, express a feeling. Like the difference between external and internal motivation–listening to ourselves rather than paying attention to other people’s opinions. Or the difference between what we perceive on other people’s outsides, and what may be going on inside.
